Daily Drip | AI For Humans

Your (Maybe) Daily Dose of AI

Mornin’ lovelies.

I saw Dune 2. Worth the IMAX ticket. I did not get the wormy-souvenir-popcorn bucket. Important updates, but let’s dive into the day’s driiiiiip.

AI4H, all melted into one. Not exactly what I prompted, but I’m tired of pleading with machines. WE ARE LIVING IN THE FUTURE!

It’s Friday, at least for my timezone, and you know what thaaaaat means

ROBOTS PLAYING WITH BLOCKS IN A HUMAN-LIKE MANNER TIME!

Just look at that sweet lil’ betty! Most robit videos we feature tend to showcase fairly stiff-jointed sauntering by some “elder-bot”, struggling to remain upright or keep a firm grip on anything. This “Phoenix” bot is autonomously sorting like a fiend! Come for the “human like” speed, stay for the Fox NFL Robot aesthetic.

X user Cern Basher posted this little grid of how the various robots in development are performing these days, and Sanctuary AI’s “Phoenix” is really shaping up.

Not an ad, by the way; we have no idea if this is destined for SkyNet Skull Stomping™, or if Phoenix will be filling in on drums for The Pizza Time Players.

Either way. You likely saw it here first.

If you’re itching for more robits, there’s an ointment for that. OR, you can check out this week’s AI For Humans Podcast where we literally have a segment called “THIS WEEK IN ROBOTS”. Crazy, all roads lead back to Mr. Wonderful…

Thanks for making it this far fellow humans. Feel free to share this, and don’t forget to like/subscribe/comment/subpoena/puree/sashay all of the things.

Your engagement helps. And we appreciate it.
